PCA Skin Brightening Therapy with TrueTone (1oz)

An innovative combination of natural and bioengineered brighteners clinically proven to reduce all types of hyperpigmentation. Key ingredients:
Phenylethyl Resorcinol- A synthetically produced resorcinol derivative that is part of TrueTone found in brightening therapy. Acts as a potent melanogenesis inhibitor that prevents the conversion of tyrosinase to L-DOPA, effectively aiding in the clearing of discolorations. Studies demonstrate comparable results to kojic acid and hydroquinone with no irritation. Also provides antioxidant benefits.
Alpha-Arbuitn- As part of TrueTone it acts as a melanogenesis inhibitor to assist in the correction of hyperpigmentation. Also evens existing skin tone. Arbutin is an effective antioxidant and skin conditioner.
Undecylenoyl Phenylalanine- A synthetically produced combination of undecylenic acid and amino acid that is part of TrueTone found in brightening therapy. Effectively assists in reducing skin discolorations by suppressing the formation of melanocyte stimulating hormone (MSH) and, as a result, inhibits tyrosinase, melanin formation and melanosome transfer.
Carnitine- An amino acid derivative found in nearly every cell in the body. Carnitine has demonstrated excellent antioxidant benefits and encourages cell proliferation and turnover.
Betula Alba Bark Extract or White Birch Bark Extract- provides potent anti-inflammatory benefits because of its high concentrations of betulinic acid.
Scrophularia Nodosa Extract or Figwort Extract- is frequently used as a natural remedy for several types of dermatitis. Figwort extract exhibits strong anti-inflammatory properties because of a high content of betulinic acid.
Porphyra Umbilicalis Extract- A form of red algae that exhibits strong antioxidant properties. Glycosaminoglycans - Effective matrix metalloproteinase inhibitors (MMPi). MMPi discourage breakdown of the skins extracellular matrix (collagen, elastin, proteoglycans, fibronectin and other glycoproteins) and protect the skin from environmental damage.

Directions for use: Smooth a thin layer over entire face or spot treat areas of discoloration on face or body after cleansing and toning and applying appropriate treatment serums. Finish with the appropriate PCA SKIN® moisturizer with SPF during the day and moisturizer in the evening. May be used alone or in conjunction with other PCA SKIN pigment control products.
